4.0 Rover V8 Reliant Scimitar Coupe
"I found it a year ago on ebay already converted to a v8 but it was a 3.5L auto, the engine was tired and all the paint was peeling off it. So since then I resprayed it, converted it to manual, rebuilt the 3.5 (only to lend it to my friend who bent two valves!). I've just rebuilt a cross bolted 4.0 and fitted the edelbrock carb, but not had chance to use it in anger as I killed my diff the first time I put my foot down hard. Ideally I'd like to get a Quaife LSD but moneys getting very tight now, hopefully get some proper use out of it this year. Should be driving it to Le Mans in june this year.
