V8 TVR Chimaera restoration

Sam bought his TVR Chimaera 400 in 2008, knowing how difficult it is to be sure with these cars that the chassis and outriggers are in good condition, let alone the rest of the car, he bought one of the cheapest examples he could find and set about spending the change making it perfect.

The result is a TVR with about as sound a chassis as there can be, some subtle modifications which put its engine, brakes and suspension comfortably beyond that of a 'normal' TVR Chimaera 500, and that sense of wellbeing you can only get knowing your car isn't rusting away below you.
